Returns Policy YOU MUST GET A RETURNS LABEL from us before anything will be accepted - read on
We want to supply you with the best most suitable goods first time - so ask us if in any doubt - we are here to offer advise where needed but if not asked we can not be at fault when incorrect items are ordered - e-mail us before ordering any item you are not sure about. On the rare occasions that our products are faulty or incorrectly supplied (yes we are human and make some mistakes) we offer a full refund or exchange. Please telephone before returning any item to obtain a return booking number as we will not normally accept a parcel unless pre booked.
Where you are buying as an individual ( for yourself rather than for a business) you have the right to cancel within seven days of your contract with us, or seven days of receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If you cancel your order within these times due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered parts or items you will have payment returned less any delivery cost incurred by us when sending to you originally and transaction charges by merchant servcies/banks/PayPal/WorldPay etc (unless faulty or incorrectly supplied) Should you wish to return an order under these regulations then due to the nature of our business we insist you contact us first for a returns booking number (We will e-mail you a label to use and if there is any time delay caused by this extra time will be added to the time you have to retrun an item) The Rerturns Booking Number Label must be displayed clearly on the outside of the packet so we know what it is. This is soley due to the fact that we have had to reject parcels etc not pre booked as some sensless people have sent us leaking mercury items in the past and has been a health and safety issue for us at Barometer World. The statutory time to cancel will be taken as the time when you first contact us about a possible return and we will not refuse a refund once that contact has been made if it fulfills the requirements above provided first contact was within the statutory time frame, but we will wish to try arrange suitable alternatives or days for return as we are not here 7 days a week. We reserve the right to not accept a part cancellation of an order due to our minimum order requirements and costs but will look at each request individually and help where possible. We do not expect to get returns as we have tried hard over many years to supply suitable items for people to use and built up a high degree of expertise here at Barometer World. We do expect customers that are thinking of ordering an item to check with us in advance if they are unceratin of suitabilty or size etc.
There are variations to these rules where we are supplying services or making customised goods - an order for any non standard item which we make specially for you will not be returnable unless faulty or incorrect.

You may prefer to use an insured, trackable method to return the goods, as we can accept no responsibility for lost or damaged items in the return journey. Items should be returned in the same box as sent to avoid damage - but please discuss with us if necessary and a returns label must be clearly visible on the outside of the box - contact us for this as above
Shipping And Handling
Delivery is not included on most UK orders, deliveries will normally need signing for so please advise preffered days and we will try and arrange if we can or contact you before sending an item. Carriage and Handling costs for all Overseas orders will have to be advised, please advise which product you are interested in and the address where you wish it to be sent and we will e-mail you the costs and times expected. Overseas orders are subject to carriage costs according to costs of sending and packing and handling, normally at a default charge but you will be e-mailed if there needs to be any extra costs and sometimes we charge less if very light goods etc. Method of delivery will be at our discretion - normally FedEx, parcel post or by carrier as we think appropriate. For overseas we often use Parcel Forece Worldwide Global Priority Service but can vary according to items ordered. We regreatably find we need to charge a handling fee for North American orders which will normally be within the postage costs. If you wish your order to be sent by a particular method this may entail additional cost. Please enquire if necessary. Remember - once posted the risk is with you, we can not be held liable for losses by the delivery company. But wherever possible we will pursue any claim or loss enquiry on your behalf without prejudice of course - but it so seldom happens anyway.
We deliver your order as soon as practical, we examine and test each item as applicable and if a longer delay is possible we will e-mail you.. We will normally send your order to you within 3 of our business days . International orders are generally received in under 12 days but will depend on where and method of carriage. Please remember carriage costs for orders outside UK are likely to be an extra 20% of order value. The risk in transit is the purchasers we cannot be held liable for non-delivery by a delivery agent - if requested we may be able to arrange insurance and will assit in any claim as far as reasonable on the purchasers behalf - be informed it is your (the purhcasers) responsibilty and any work we do is as a matter of good will and not obligotory - but we do want even more satisfied customers so on the rare occasisons we have looked into late or lost parcels - seldom happens but can do on your behalf.
